I like the reverse brake levers a lot on the Bosco bars. The whole straight back section is now clean and you can place your hands anywhere on it, all the way up to and including the curves. The great benefit of the reverse brake lever is that pretty much excluding the curved section, you have access to your brake levers if all of a sudden you need to slow down. For me, from all but the most forefront section near the curves, I can reach the brake levers with my pinkie and annular (ring) fingers. When additional braking power is needed, I move my hands closer to the brake levers.
In this regard, the Tektro 4.1 reverse brake levers were more user friendly than the Paul's, since the lever is a bit longer. However, I found them to be really squishy and remove a lot of the braking power, which was really noticeable on my Betty with the Racer/Silver F/R brakes. I first installed them on the Hunqapillar as well, and with the Neo-Retro/Touring brakes the effect was still there, so I changed to the Paul's reverse levers and the braking immediately improved and now feels comparable to how it felt with the MTB like brake levers. This weekend I'm installing the Paul's on the Betty as well. (3 sets of Tektro 4.1 levers will be up for sale soon) Bottom line, unless you insist on having bar-end shifters on either Bosco or Albatross bars, or any other bar that accepts them, I think reverse brake levers is the way to go.
