"Springiness", "liveliness", and the terrible "planing".
Others will doubtless say different, and take into account my weight -- 175 -- but I found the Sam HIll (single top tube, 56) to be rather dull in this regard -- much like the Fargo. It was a decent bike and if it had accepted fatter tires I'd have kept it, but it didn't "spring" like my Riv roads. OTOH, it seems to be one of the most popular Rivs. Weight is not necessarily the issue, either: the Herse I owned was a tank (and I didn't care for the handling) but it felt fast -- wonder if this was because it fit so well? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
