Forgot to add that, while I had time this evening only for a very brief ride (6.5 miles), the bike is one whose first impression is that it "feels right" and makes you want to push; doubtless because of the dimensions and geometry. The Herse was another (tho' the Ram handles better, or at least more to my taste), the Sam Hill and the Fargo, not so much, tho' both nice bikes. More as I put on the miles, of course..
I hope to try a grocery run tomorrow or early next week; want to see if it meets that subtle criterion of a nice, fast, unladen bike that is also fun to ride with 35 lb on the back.
