So it has been a little over a month of almost exclusive use of the fixed gear SimpleOne (I did ride a few days on my Homer, here and there). Though I don't have the passion for fixed gear that I hear from some people, I can say for sure that there will always be a place for a fixed gear bike in my stable. I will not be giving up my geared or single speed bikes anytime soon. Don't get me wrong. I have learned to love riding fixed gear. There is something about it that just feels so nice, almost meditative. Meeting a down hill does not bother me anymore, like in those first few days. I have a feeling that I will be putting a lot of miles on the SimpleOne in fixed mode this spring and summer.
Here are a couple of pictures of the SimpeOne set up as a fixed commuter. I am loving the Bullmoose bars I put on it at the same time as the fixed wheel. http://www.flickr.com/photos/73873271@N03/8683711865/in/photostream/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/73873271@N03/8683712463/in/photostream/ David Charlotte, NC -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
