If I lived in SF, or some civilized metropolis, I would expect to come across Rivendells with some regularity; here in East Tennessee/ southwestern Virginia, I wouldn't have expected such; saved from that because Steve and Bobby at MSL became Riv dealers....
Here in Kingsport, I've only only seen one other, a Quickbeam, but I did have an retired gentleman intercept me one day to ask about my Ram, recognizing "one of Grant Petersen's designs". In Bristol, I've seen a couple of Hilsens, and a Sam or two. Over in Abingdon, on the Creeper Trail, I've met another Ram.
