Curtis, congrats on the new bike. You're gonna love it. Tire choice for the
Hilsen can be tough given the range of tires. I've tried so many different
tires--Jack Browns, green and blue, Paselas (32, 35), Schwalbe Marathon
Supremes (35) and a range of Marathons--32s, 35s, 38s, 40s, and even 47s. I
go back and forth on tires depending on what time of riding I'm doing. I
think the Supremes are a great way to go in that they're large volume, roll
smoothly and are extremely durable. While the Marathons can feel sluggish
they are durable and are great for mixed terrain riding. The nice thing
about the Marathons are that they're rather inexpensive. Panaracer T-Serves
are also nice tires, a bit more durable than Paselas.

Another confounding issue for the Hilsen, what type of bag or bags to put
on it? Racks?

Here's pictures of my Hilsen which I've had for almost 5yrs now.

Be sure to post pictures of yours when it arrives.
