If we want to reserve a regular site we are too late to get a good 
campground with showers. The best ones...Morro Bay and Pismo SP's are 
booked that weekend. 
Morro Strand is open but no showers or and few trees for shade.  San Simeon 
has only the primitive section open ( no showers) .  We could do the 
hiker/biker sites for the train travelers but that wouldn't work for those 
that drive there.

The best of the leftovers to me is Morro Strand SP. Flush toilets, closer 
to a decent size town, and not to far from the train station in SLO.

any other ideas?  The Motel 6's ( two of them) are 5 miles south of SLO and 
charge $106/n. The south one is better BTW.
