Mike, He was lamenting whether to go with 700c or 26" I told him with the 26" you'll have a vast choice of tires with different tread, and a cushy ride. I do think he needs to lower the HB's and just have the spacers above. I also recalled what you said about wishing you'd had the 26 er which I passed on to him. Also I believe the smaller wheel is easier to get spinning which I would deem appropriate with a load.
