I feel the Newbaum's colors fade super fast. Green, red, black, for sure. Maybe the blue and orange less so. The Viva forest green stayed pleasantly dark forever. According to my memory... I don't have any problem taping with Newbaum's, Viva, or whatever black cloth tape the Bike Peddler had hidden in the back. I did shellac the black! First shellackage for me. It looks and feels great.
