Not something I do often, especially in this group, but I'd like to recommend Riv'ers pick up the Tour de France issue of Bicycling magazine. Good article about the joys of going slow by a Grant fan, quotes him, even has a brief interview. And it drives home how injurious going hard all the time can be.
I can identify with the author because I also spent my early years as a club cyclist trying to hang with the fast guys and ended up with strained tendons, knee issues, etc. Grant's philosophy helped me move away from that style of riding, though I'm still sometimes more aggressive on the bike than my fitness warrants. And it still hurts me... Steve -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
