we all like to have a good time and be safe, but you chose your Roadeo over your Atlantis on the Sierra to the Sea ride because it was more appropriate for that ride. Call it what you want.. to me that was to improve your riding efficiency. it's about picking the right bike/tires/gear for a particular ride. You wouldn't pick your Roadeo to do the Great Divide as you would spend a lot of time pushing to be safe and probably not have a good time.
