Yup, rear derailer cable runs on the right (crank) side of the BB. You can route the rear shifter cable from the right bar-end, to the LEFT downtube stop, and have it cross over back to the right side if you like. I do this on my bikes and it makes for better (less severe bends) cable loops from the handlebars.
