Yes .... Carmina with rings is quite the $$$  .... lol.   I had bought mine 
as just the arms/spider from Bilenky Cycle , I forget the cost but it was 
quite a bit less that what PJW sold it for. 
TA also makes a Vega crank

There are also Sinz BMX cranks , I'm not sure of the quality though, but 
yet again, black.
There is also the Surly Crank, though not square taper.
