FWIW, Kalloys and similar cheap posts seem to be available in many different diameters at local shops -- I suppose they are the go-to when building or re-building the cheap bikes that make up so much of the repair business. I bought relatively odd sizes like 25.4 and 26.2 (IIRC) at a nearby neighborhood shop -- for $19.99, too.
