Dave, this is exactly the setup that I was going to suggest, as it is something I'd like to try on my Bleriot. I have 8spd Shimano brifters and would like to try them with one of the bars that you mention. Seems like they would work; at least it's worth a try before investing in new shifters and brake levers. Do you have any personal experience with this setup? Steve
