"We are in the midst of a Sit Up & Beg Epidemic....." by which I assume the writer is referring to upright bars. He waxes about the apparent relaxed position of Greg Lemond, et al, in the 80s. Well, a lot of people on upright bars look pretty relaxed. Isn't there a photo somewhere of the Carters on their Rivendells?
I spent much of Sept on a couple of cheap hybrid rentals with flat bars that have got me considering something more upright for my Atlantis, and I've got my Nitto drops up a bit higher than the seat. Lemond bombing on a Betty.....that would be so cool.
