miles, for some reason.

I have to say that there is definite advantage to a bike that is built for
weight (the '99 gf weighs 17.5 lb before I add the small saddle wedge and
bottle). Feeling a bit tired, I planned on bailing on the steep climb up
the West Mesa but no, once again -- as always over the last (2013-1999)
years, the light bike with very light wheels just *climbs* -- despite the
higher, 75" gear.

Patrick Moore, whose blood sugar has been sufficiently depleted to
accommodate a very large TG dinner with **two** kinds of wine in ABQ, NM.
