The resilience of the French people is certainly on display. So is their ingenuity, which brought many "modern" innovations to market 60 to 70 years ago: recumbent bicycles, small wheels, lightweight bicycle trailers, etc. Doubtless if it were possible to check out the bikes even closer there would be even more 21st Century "inventions" that are actually "rediscoveries" of ideas from cycling's golden era. Vive le peuple francais!
