My Saluki was a 60cm cantilever model, and an early one. I fit Hetres,
and they're variously cited to be 40-42mm. At the time, that was the
widest tire available in the 584 size. There are now huge knobby 584
MTB tires, but I've never seen any or tried them in a 650B road bike.
