Looks like a fantastic ride. I'm sort of kind of considering it, but our brevet series here in New England ends on July 26, and I'd like to have a little more rest time before tackling the 1200. Plus, I'll be traveling the week before, so it probably just won't work out. I did the Surf City 600K a few years ago, and it was simply stunning - one of the best rides I've ever done. You Californians have it made.
I do plan on going back for the 600K again this year at the end of September, riding my Ram, of course.
