Hi All I've decided that jackets are happier when they're being used so I've implemented a one-in-one-out policy. After the holiday I've got some barely used gems for sale and a couple I thought RBWOB members would be the best owners for them.
If you're interested, send me an email. Priority will go to those who are either buying multiple or seem like really good homes. Pictures of all available here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/168j3gldu7lfhnf/TsOJ21iOqI/jackets 1) Gray Outlier Merino hoody (outlier.cc) size medium -$200 shipped to CONUS- Super soft merino wool hoody, perfect for riding. It has a nice long drop tail to keep the lower back warm, an enormous helmet compatible hood (in the picture that is a basketball in the hood to show how big it is. The ball is in a recycle bag to keep the hoodie clean). The pull cords have these wonderful little leather tabs that you slide up the chord to keep the hood cinched to whatever size you want. It has nice soft elasticized cuffs to keep the wind from rushing up the sleeves, and they're merino also, so good temperature regulation. Machine washable. Almost new condition, just a few tangles in the cord (visible in the pic). I'd say the fabric is about a 200-260 weight, 18.5 micron unbelievably soft. Size medium with a slim-ish (but not tight) fit. Good for someone with a 40"-ish chest. 2) Black North Face soft shell size large -$80 CONUS- Very lightly used (I live in LA where it is neither windy nor rainy much). Soft tricot/fleece lined softshell. North Face forever warranty. Water resistant and has some sort of windproofing membrane. Seems to be the previous model of this one based on the features and the tags (http://www.thenorthface.com/catalog/sc-gear/mens-jackets-vests/men-39-s-rdt-softshell-jacket.html?variationId=7D1&variationName=ASPHALT%20GREY%20HEATHER) This one is slightly looser than the hoody, could easily fit the same person (both fit me), but more room for layering underneath or would work for up to a 42" chest. 3) Gray/Black REI windproof fleece vest size medium - $30 CONUS- Great shape, seen a little more usage than the other two. Slim, but not tight, and definitely room to layer underneath. Soft fleece inner, top (black portion) has a softshell-y material to resist abrasion from a pack. Windproofing membrane. Packs pretty small. Perfect for throwing in the pack and saving for that one long descent where the wind cuts through your other gear or for when the weather takes a turn for the worse. REI spectacular forever warranty. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
