One of my favorite merino tops was $7 on the Target clearance table. No pockets in back, but a handlebar bag holds my sundries just fine. Discount store wool is likely to be Chinese in origin though. Just FYI. Ebay is a source for used goods at lower cost, and of course what list members here advertise from time to time. Most modern washing machines have a wool cycle which makes care easier.
