+1. So many of the products Rivendell offers are not available anywhere else. They produce what they want that doesn't exist. That is incredible, and what they make happens to be incredibly practical and beautiful and brilliant and hearty and well crafted -- a very rare combination. I want to reward that and so I will happily buy less or save longer in order to buy from them.
My rule is this: I save up to buy what I want from them. If they no longer carry it, have stopped producing it, or it's a long or unknown wait, then I may go to the secondary market.
