I've had mine a week + now. Wore it last Saturday and again today on
rides. Wore it to the office on (casual) Friday and wore it to sleep in
one night this week. My impressions:
The fabric is rougher than say a Swobo, or smartwool, or Ibex base
layer. It's not scratchy or uncomfortable though. The weave is
interesting and it keeps its shape when wet with sweat. It's thin, but
it works as a baselayer. Today the temps ran from upper 40s to the 50s
and it was under a short sleeve wool jersey. My arms were too cool at
the start and needed a jacket. The jacket came off about an hour and a
half into the ride and I was very comfy. Most other riders needed to
keep jackets on.
I washed it today and it did not soften appreciably. I like it and once
it's on, I don't want to take it off.
