Mostly rain yesterday. Worst part was the wind--mostly in my face all the way 
on a one-way ride.

Also re-learned the lesson that no rain gear will keep you dry. Even with full 
fenders and a front mud flap that almost drags on the ground, my feet were 
sloshing within a few miles. Wool socks, thankfully, kept them warm. Up top, my 
Showers Pass Elite kept me dry-er, but the wool layer underneath again kept me 
reasonably warm even after it got damp. Other than solid plastic sheeting, 
nothing keeps all the rain out ... and solid plastic creates its own rainstorm 
inside.
