Hello everyone,

I'm looking to sell a green double top tube Sam that I bought new from
Rivendell back in 2011. I'm going to preface this by saying that I love the
bike and by no means wish to part with it, but I plan on moving to Japan
this year to work and a folding bike like a Brompton or Dahon would be much
more practical. The bicycle has been well used except when it was stored
for a year in my family's house while I was studying abroad, so I would
only say that there are about 2 1/2 years of regular usage.

The Components are as follows:

Tekro Brakes and Levers
46cm Nitto Noodle Bars
60 cm Nitto Stem
Mark's Rack + Medium Wald Basket
Sugino Double Front 44/34
Shimano XTR Rear 9 speed cassette 11-34
Shimano XT rear derailor
MKS touring pedals
Velo Orange double decker rear rack

Wheels: Continental Contact tires
Front: Mavic open sport 32 rim/Shimano Deore hub
Rear: Mavic open sport 32 rim/Shimano Deore LX hub
Brooks B17 honey saddle

I tried to show some of the scratch marks on the front of the bike that
occurred while locking it up and normal wear and tear. Also, the pedals
need to be serviced so they make a little clicking sound. Other than that,
the bike rides beautifully as expected of a Rivendell. I would very much
like to sell the bike complete to someone local(I'm in the Monterey Bay
area) as I'm in my final year of college and busy with my senior project.

My asking price $1500 complete bicycle, but I'm willing to parlay based on
parts and such. I'm also open to parting with the Medium Sackville
Saddlebag for $80.

Please reply to author if interested! Thank you,
Steven
