My new experience? Going car free. But the bike commute is too short. 1.7 miles, to be exact.
Seems like it takes me longer to wheel it out, don the helmet and jacket, strap on the bag and get the lights and reflectors right than it does to pedal home. Trying to stretch it out to >10 miles in a not ridiculously circuitous route so the bus (or walking) doesn't become too easy an option.
