The version is the latest RExcel 3.0-1, rcom 1.5-2.2 RSrv250 (although I don't really need this) on R 2.7.2 and Excel 2003 on XP Home. After getting all the bits and pieces, it did install OK by trial and error except I can't make it work with R in background - this option is greyed out. Is there a trick - one of the many macros that can be called - that can enable this?
