Desserts:
Chess Pie

from Atlanta Cooknotes


INGREDIENTS:
3 eggs
1-1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
1 tablespoon yellow corn meal
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon vinegar
1 unbaked 8-inch pastry shell
TO PREPARE:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Lightly beat eggs with a whisk.  Stir in remaining ingredients, mixing well.  Pour into pastry shell and bake 50 minutes.

SERVES: 6 to 8
