It all depends on what you are comfortable with. If you all you want is to install pre-built r-cran-rcpp and r-cran-rinside, then I (with my Debian maintainer hat on) surely provide those for you. If you don't change them, they should work just fine. On "my" production systems, I do however build Rcpp* et al from source. The whole "should I install CRAN packages as r-cran-* binaries, or from source" nexus is somewhat complicated, but is the wrong question for this list.
