a) I would forget netbeans and used the _supported_ and _shipped_ qmake / Makefile combination. I have used this in the past on Windows; I did it so far back that I had to build Qt using the MinGW compiler R uses. That gotter, but make sure - you use the Qt version for MinGW - you use the correct Rtools etc pp and get lucky that it plays along with Qt b) You use the cmake files contributed by Peter, and also shipped. These should work too, but I am less familar with them.
