well, just to let you know, i was about to start having those links  of mine 
cast up in aluminum, but he raised the price (said it was due to a  recent 
rise in metal prices) so i have put off getting them done in metal  (for now) 
he 
was going to charge me $6.00 and needing about 150 of them ........  and 
that's not including the shipping.
 
for what i am seeing in the picture for the clean cast part and it being  
machined (drilled straight through) and with pin, $7.50 might be about right.  
(i'd be happier if they were more like $5.00 .... but)
 
would have be interesting if he would have had the sprockets and wheels as  
well
