I use a circuit breaker rated for 42V at 70 amps from my battery leads
to the distribution panel.  Then I have a single fuse after the
distribution panel going to each ESC (Victor 883s).  I have drawn more
than 70amps from the batteries on occasion and the breaker has
tripped.
