I haven't fond that link yet! It was quite interesting. Thy guy drew the tire in cad, then went to the local college and asked them to create the part using a rapid prototyping machine. A mold was made from the prototype and the tire was vulcanized right onto an aluminum wheel. I'll keep looking.
