Marc, we'd love to host a battle, even if you can't be here with a tank.
We've got more assets than we know what to do with here! Especially
if T057 makes it back into the fray. Then we'll have Neil's 3 assets,
Phil's 2, my 2 (maybe 3), and Pete's 1. That's 8 (maybe 9) assets, and
there's only 6 of us!
And well, if Steve can get over here, I'd like him on my team!
I can just imagine this kind of conversation between a field commander
and headquarters:
HQ: "We've been invaded!"
Commander: "Who by?"
HQ: "A Greek, an American, and somebody Dutch"
Commander: "What!? 3 people! That's not exactly an army...."
HQ: "Well you know the drill, wipe them out."
Commander: "Will do!"
Not that that sort of teaming up would be fair....
I reckon I can get the "usual" location on any weekend (Sat or Sun) from
18th/19th July 09 onwards. I know for Marc, W&P is 22-26th July (or so
says the website), so I don't know how that pans out in terms of
weekends for Marc.
By then, T027 will be fully armed and ready to go. I'm going to get a
Spyder for it in the new year, and then get it fully armed and ready to
go. Probably a case of squeezing a door lock actuator in there somehow.
Not entirely sure how yet. But I'll cross that hurdle later.
We'll worry about specifics nearer the time, however, thoughts are
welcome. Any thoughts about which SV I should build are also welcome.
I'm thinking either German or British to tie in with the Challenger or
Hetzer.
And while I'm at it: Merry Christmas or happy holidays to all on list.
