Hi im Tripp. I have been working on an RC M-24 Chaffee tank at 1/8
scale for about a year and a half now and I cant seem to find what all
electronics I need to be in order to remote control two 12 volt
motors, and two servos.I am looking for a simple list of all the
materials that I need to remote control the two 12 volt motors and two
servos. If you can keep it simple im only 14 and dont exectly know what
every thing is. If you have a better idea for remote controlling a
homemade tank let me hear it.I need all the help I can get.Thank You!

sorry i can't help you with the list, but it would be a bit more helpful if
you could tell what kind of 12 volt motors you have and maybe what the amp
rating of them might be? if your not sure, look to see if these is a tag of
some sort on the motors listing what they are. are they drill motors with
gears?

are you planning to use the 2 servos to operate with switches to use as a
speed control or will the servos operate the turret (turning) and gun
(elevation)

any chance you could snap a few pictures for the guys here?

do you have any batteries yet for driving the tank's motors?

how much does your tank weigh?

just trying to think of some questions the guys might need answered to help
get you some sort of list together.

oh, what about a budget, would this be as cheap as possible or is there some
money to get some decent equipment (like speed controller, r/c unit and so
forth)

the more information you can give them, the better they can help.

lots of luck with your build!

oh, were about do you hail from? maybe there might be someone local to you
