Here's a basic shopping list which should be helpful:

- R/C System - Work on 1 channel per motor or servo, so 2 motors is 2
channels, etc etc. Frank Pittelli's C6C (see
http://www.cheapcontrolsystems.com) is a great controller, I've used it
in both my tanks, and it's 6 channels. You will need a wireless or
wired PS2 gamepad for it though. Generally for tanks, you use one
channel for steering, and one for forward/backwards.

- For the motors, you'll need a speed controller. If you've got a
budget that will stretch to it, the Sabertooth 2x25 is a great option.
Seach for Dimension Engineering for that. Otherwise, the pages at
http://rctankcombat.com/articles/speed-control/ and
http://rctankcombat.com/articles/ControllerReview.html should be able to
help.

- Your motors will probably need some reasonably heavy gauge wire.

- The servos will run directly off whichever radio system you have, but
you may need extension cables to put them where you want them.

- You'll need a 12V battery of some kind to run all the above, and
possibly some kind of battery for the radio reciever (usually 7.2V NiMH
"race pack" or similar). For the 12V battery, the larger the number of
"Ah" (amp hours), the longer you tank will run between charges. If you
can give the specifications of your motors we can help a bit more.

I hope that's helpful and gives you somewhere to start. If you need any
more help, feel free to ask.
