I just finished mounting my new M01's. I used 3/4 inch ply with a top sheath of 1/8 aluminum. I thought this was somewhat overkill until I did the tether tests. Those motors are unbelievable. Using an external 12v power source and controls it lifted the front end when it took off! On 12v! Tomorrow the 24 volt battery pack gets put in and that *should hold down the nose.
