I'm thinking 1/4" ply should be paintball-proof, though testing it is
a good idea. The model only weighs 2lb or so, so it should just fall
over which will dissipate the energy (as well as looking good).

My reasoning was (1) the tank I built doesn't work at all at the
moment, and making it work is stressful, whereas working with smaller
stuff isn't; and (2) this is what I want to do.
