I suspect it was considered, but you can get 2 channels of 25A control 
for $128 from Dimension Engineering - Sabertooth 2x25A.  Cheaper, and 
does the job, so no need for more expensive systems.

Nothing to stop you using it, but the Sabertooth is tried and tested.
