Hi all I'm a noob here I have decided to build an RC Tank and you guys will now be hearing allot from me in the way of questions and in time to come some answers.
After checking out all the types of tank tracks I decided on the timing belt tracks. So off I went to the supplyers who were eager to help seen as they usually deal with industry - mining and the likes and my tank ideas appeald to one of them. $980 US later I had myself 2 Timing belt tracks, 18 groved timing pullys (16 to be coverd with rubber for wheels) and 18 Bushes that anchor the pully wheel to a 20mm shaft. After reviewing my inventory (belt and wheel size) I deduced that I was now in for a 1/6 scale tank. M1A1 here we come. My question is this: What is good motor to place in a 1/6 scale tank? I somehow dont think a 12v drill is going to do the trick. IcarusZulu --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You are currently subscribed to the "R/C Tank Combat" group.
