Aha . . . 'We had one but the wheel fell off!'

Actually I checked up on the UKRCRC forum and this particular kit is
criticised for having weak axles and one member stripped a pinion in
the gearbox. The general concensus was that it would be OK as long as
you gusset the axle tube where it meets the gearbox and you don't
expect too much for 160 quid!
 My other thought was that I didn't forsee anyone trying to get a
1/6th scale truck or armoured car built out of this crawler but fitted
with a scale body to climb - or fall off- foot high boulders. I think
RC combat with such a vehicle would be easier on the running gear when
compared with crawling but heavier on the bodywork.
