A new UK battle site has been found , depending on cost (yet to be negotiated but hardly expensive) This is as good as sites get . Pete and I took T051 and the new Marder thingy for a play last Saturday the 25th :-
http://s224.photobucket.com/albums/dd267/neroc1/?action=view¤t=Patio002.flv This site has gas and pb`s on tap ( at a price ) and is dry , safe , clean , with running water + all mod cons ( inc toilets ) close to the M6 motorway just south of Manchester airport. Thanks to Pete we have made contact with the manager who is quite friendly and interested, its him driving the leopard killing the Marder. Now the down side. This site is only currently offered to us for tank battles on Fridays, not any other day . This is not a problem to Pete or I . As far as cost is concerned , It could be a case of the more players involved the cheaper per player the event will become, or maybe not, we don’t know yet. It would be helpful if interested parties could reply to this email, we are planning to battle soon , in May, You don’t require an asset to be involved and being a short drive from the FTF barracks ,accommodation to members is available. A possible second day of battles is being considered on the following Saturday at a separate location yet to be announced or even found.
