what motors are you using? If you haven't got them yet, look at gearing pre-geared M01's or similar, this will let you go a 9/10/11 on the geared motor and a 13 or so on the shaft if you already have non-geared motors and this is why you're looking at the gearing tranny, you may need to build a three or more stage tranny to allow for small sprocket fitment on the shaft i'm using 24v 350w reversible scooter motors and have worked out a small gear down trany using 25 pitch chain. not looking at the drawings, i think i have it going from the sprocket on the scooter to a 24 tooth, on the same shaft another 12 tooth that runs to another 24 tooth and on that same shaft another sprocket that would drive the sprocket on the axle. all of that i had worked out, it just depends on the sprocket i put onto the axle giving me my final reduction that will change the last sprocket in the trany. i had these motors before the M-01's or i would have just bought them. i just wanted to see how many may have run into this problem while designing their tank Chris, _Odyssey Slipways_ (http://hometown.aol.com/odysseyslipways/index.html) **************2009 3 Free CREDIT SCORES: See Your 3 Credit Scores from All 3 Bureaus FREE!
