For what it's worth, I've been playing around with a geophone and a sound card spectrum analyzer that captures some nice vehicle seismic signatures of cars passing by my house. I posted a screen capture in the Files section - vlf_spectrum02.jpg. I may try to run some of those tank sound recordings through this set-up, just for the heck of it. If anybody is interested in this sort of thing, it's cheap and easy to set up if you have a PC with a sound card.
