De-militarized equipment like that comes up some times. I'm told a
local gun shop owner recently purchased some Russian tank to put by his
store. They said it had an Oldsmobile engine and could only go about
6MPH. I've yet to drive over and look at it but supposedly he paid
$12k.

        Hi Guys

Don't know if this is of any interest to you Sydney tankers but
was talking to my neighbour who is a railway hobbyist and was telling
him about rctankcombat and he told me him and his railway mates have
bought a real Centurion tank ex Vietnam war version and it is running
order cost them $15,000 aus they bought it and are building a railway
tank transporter to move it around on long story short is he can
arrange open access to it, but and there is always a but it is up inland
of Coffs Harbour.

Then he came up with some really interesting info that the
Lancers Barracks in Parramatta have a Centurion also and that is open to
the public on request so if anyone needs full details and photo's the
Lancers would let people in.

Hope that spikes someone's interest in Centurion tanks

        Regards
