I finally got around to building the front mud guards and track guards, and T067 got to see some dry and crusty lumpy dirt.
In this first vid it gets stuck, I needed to lend some assistance to get it out. I didn't film it, but basically I just put a bit of pressure with my foot on the front and backed it out of the ditch http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=znx016dUbR0 In this one at about the half way point the right track derails - however in true Tiger Tank form I managed to drive it 150 meters back to the garage, even though all 4 sprockets on the right track were off the chain, the front drive sprockets were semi-engaging on the pads themselves. I did drive it home fairly slowly and carefully, still not bad to be able to drive like that with a completely unseated track. To combat the derailing problem some more I will be swapping out the coil springs on the front-most and rear-most bogie wheels for a stiffer spring. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cu3dwCVBh0s And a full-noise dyno run! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nmIRMMhKNFU Now it's on to building a turret!
