I would very much like to attend the Gettysburg event. Looks like it'll be about 6 hours from me, so it is doable. Besides, I reaaaaallly want to see a battle! Heh.

If you'd like to attend and participate, please post a message and we'll send you directions via private email. The location is a private residence, so we can't post the address online. A week later, some of the gang will be heading south to the National Museum of Americans in Wartime in Manassas, VA to participate in their annual Open House. http://www.nmaw.org/registration/2009openhouse.php Every year, they put dozens of restored military vehicles on the lawn and let the public climb all over them. They have quite a nice collection and they actually run a number of tanks on a demonstration loop throughout the day. We're tentatively scheduled to have our tanks on display, allow the kids to drive them around and shoot the Navarone Gun at targets. Should be a great day for everyone and the best part is that everything is free!! So, if you're in the area and want to see some vintage armored vehicles plan on attending the show.
