The Commissar got tired of carrying large BB-firing boats and built a tiny Russian predreadnought (Evstafi) and took it to a battle where the tiny boat (with 2 guns) sank a North Carolina class battleship... so the tiny ship is going to be my main ship at the MWC Nationals in July next year, and I am playing up the campy commie angle :) In Soviet Russia, campy commie angle plays YOU! :) I and a buddy will be rooming together and hanging Soviet-era propaganda posters (with our faces photoshopped in) and calling ourselves the Red Menace :)
I do have a couple of 1/144 submarine hulls (I-400, Argonaut(V-4), and Nautilus SSN-571) sitting on a shelf in the shop. The I-400 is a fiberglass hull, the other 2 are wood. For tanks, I am going to finish my Sherman before looking at any more Russian tanks :) -- Clark in Georgia, Commissar of the Red Banner Southern Fleet "We will pass through the American patrols, past their sonar nets, and lay off their largest city, and listen to their rock and roll... while we conduct missile drills." --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You are currently subscribed to the "R/C Tank Combat" group.
