I'd say just use a .30 cal ammo box, they are a really useful sized tin. They are great for storing all sorts of things, They aren't too big or too small. BUT if you are using it for an external drive, I'd guess you'd need to use something smaller, Just go to your local one and check if they have one, if they don't, then ask if they could order one in. While you are there, you can also pick up your ever handy DPMs, camo netting and a ghillie suit. I know my local shop doesn't have anything that small, I think the army re-uses them.
